About
Tashea is a New York based multidisciplinary designer originally from Kingston, Jamaica currently pursuing her MFA in Product of Design at the School Of Visual Arts.

She began her design career at Champions Design in NY, after receiving her BFA from The Cooper Union, and shortly after also started teaching design at the Lower Eastside Girls Club. Both experiences gave life a whole new meaning, it was during that time she developed a passion for serving others, making a change, and leaving an impact.

Now a product designer, Tashea creates physical products, digital applications, and experience-driven services that bridge design, technology, and human connection. Her background in brand design and early experiences working in studios and teaching young designers shaped her belief in design as a tool for service, one that can create access, tell meaningful stories, and drive real-world impact.
This perspective continues to inform her work with organizations such as Monkey Paw Productions and Color Of Change, where she has helped craft strategies and design systems for social justice initiatives, fundraising, and membership growth.

When she is not around her laptop, researching or teaching, you can find her backpacking around the world and trying new cuisines, or hiking new mountains.
